Nursing/Allied Health Student Scholarship
Kim Ngan Nguyen was the recipient of this year’s Dauphin County Medical Society Nursing/Allied Health Scholarship, which is presented annually to a HACC student. The award was presented by DCMS President Dr. Andrew Richards at the HACC Foundation Awards Program on August 28, 2008. Congratulations Kim!
Medical School Student Scholarship
Jordan M. Newell was the recipient of this year’s Scott M. Gunder, MD, DCMS Presidential Scholarship, which is presented annually to a Penn State College of Medicine student. Jordan was recognized by the DCMS Board of Governors at its September 3, 2008, meeting. Included in the picture are Dr. Peter Lund (President, PA Medical Society), Drs. Everett Hills and Lawrence Altaker (Scholarship Committee members), Dr. Kenneth Conner (Scholarship Committee Chair), Dr. Andrew Richards (DCMS President), Jordan Newell, Dr. Virginia Hall (Scholarship Committee member), and Virginia Henning (Executive Director of The Foundation of the PA Medical Society).
